There’s a specific kind of magic that happens when the month of November walks in, especially when the calendar marks the 14th day. In India, November 14th is celebrated as Children's Day, and at my school, it is the tradition for our annual school trip.
The Journey Begins: On November 14th, 2025, our school arranged an outing for students from Class 6 to Class 11 to "Mystique Mayong Eco Resort." We departed at 9:30 am. The bus ride was where the memories started—filled with singing, snacks, and echoes of "Are we there yet?" before reaching the resort at 11:00 am.
Highlights of the Trip:
The Great Outdoors: The environment was serene and fresh, making us feel miles away from the city. We enjoyed outdoor sports like football, cricket, and swimming.
Meal with the Homies: Nothing beats a meal with friends. After refreshments and a hearty breakfast, we spent the day making memories with teachers and mates. The lunch was, trust me, absolutely yummy!
The "YAHOO" Moment: The best part was saved for last—the Jam Session. We turned the conference hall into a dance floor and danced like no one was watching.
Lessons Learned: Beyond the fun, we gained independence by managing our own responsibilities, practiced teamwork by looking out for each other, and gained a new perspective on how big and diverse our world is.
Wrapping Up: We boarded the bus home with wide smiles and stronger friendships. A huge thank you to the teachers and organizers for this adventure!
